Process

  • Research & Analysis: The project draws from Zoku Hotels' innovative hospitality philosophy. Architectural analysis integrates Islamic pointed arches with contemporary elements, while primary research included interviews with management.

  • Concept Development: Focused on mapping the user's journey, the proposal defines distinct activity zones, fostering social and cultural exchange between business and local communities.

  • Iteration & Prototyping: Multiple layout versions and design posters refined the spatial relationships—culminating in a cohesive user experience and balanced blend of productivity and wellness.

concept highlights

  • Spaces are meticulously zoned for both co-working and co-resting, inspired by traditional Moroccan tile ornamentation, earthy material palettes (including rammed earth), and an intentional use of color to evoke warmth, creativity, and calm.

  • The design leverages color psychology, with ambient hues promoting mental activity, relaxation, authenticity, and energetic ambiance—each chosen to connect guests to local heritage and stimulate creative interactions.
